Live Well, Clean Well

Hand sanitizing and hand-washing are an important part of staying healthy and preventing disease. But sometimes little hands go into little mouths and what's meant to kill germs can sometimes do more harm than good. That's why the folks behind Clean Well power their hand cleaning products with Ingenium, a patented formula which kills 99.99% of germs (including drug-resistant staph) and is made entirely from botanically-sourced essential oils. In essence, from plants that are readily available and rapidly renewable resources. This means no petrochemicals, no toxic by-products, just good cleaning for the entire family.

Clean Well products include a wonderfully scented foaming hand wash including ginger/bergamot, orange/vanilla and lavender, that all smell delightfully, well, clean and natural. There is also a hand sanitizer that comes in a convenient purse-sized spray, that's super easy to use on busy hands. I spray my son down after he's been to the nursery at the gym or to Kindermusic, and he's happily fascinated at this new ritual. So much easier than trying to wipe him down with the gloppy, runny stuff we used before.

The creators of Clean Well realize that labels are important, but after we read them, we don't always want to have big labels adorning our products. So they have cleverly packaged their hand soap and sanitizer with labels that are easily removed, leaving us with a sleek dispenser to sit on our countertop.

As of today, Clean Well products are available at your local Target store. I encourage you mamas to make a point to try this out. It's great for our environment, and for our little ones, keeping them germ-free and also free from unnatural yucky-stuff. I recommended it to my pediatrician this morning and he was very excited to hear about it. I hope he'll help spread the word too!
