Subversive for Target

Oooh, I am so excited! Target has done it again, and surpassed my wildest expectations! One of my favorite designers of jewelry, Justin Giunta of Subversive Jewelry, has been tapped to offer a swoon-worthy collection made just for them, due in stores March 23.

Since I first laid eyes on Justin's ethereal, textured creations made from layers of chain and beads with a Baroque sensibility, I have been smitten. Yet his prices don't readily allow for most mamas too indulge. So, alas, I have pined from afar. But no more! I will now be able to own my own piece of this extremely talented designer's work.

Justin was recently the recipient of the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers' Awards), a prestigious award offered to only the most talented designers.

Whether designing or creating artwork, Justin draws parallels between art history and modern design to explore themes of fine art and commercial design. His thought is the only difference between the two is where you sell it. Well, Justin, you've just crossed over into one of the most commercial venues of all, and we couldn't be more pleased!
